The afternoon cake was such a welcome extra after a day of walking and sightseeing. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and Claire and her son were so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was smart and spotlessly clean, and I especially appreciated the comfortable bed. We had a fabulous few days at this lovely B&B and will definitely return! Janice and Richard Yorke

We had another beautiful stay, this time for a well earned four day break with friends. The whole experience was perfect. The rooms were spotless, and the bedding, towels, and bathrobes were all very nice. Breakfast was first class, and the afternoon cake for residents was a lovely touch. Thank you, Clare and family xx

The ground floor room was handy with my dog along, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. I loved the minimalist decor. Dogs are welcome and really spoiled: Clare gave mine fresh sausage both days, much to his delight. Clare runs Linton Laithe, a lovely B&B in the quiet village of Linton in the Yorkshire Dales. She'd thoughtfully set out lots of little touches, including breakfast treats and sweets, and there was homemade cake every day. Just right after a day exploring the surrounding Yorkshire Dales. I appreciated her courtesy and kindness, including letting me check in early and offering breakfast on a tray in my room so my dog wouldn't have to be left alone. I'd really recommend it.

Would I stay here again? Of course. I spent four nights in mid September with three friends while we walked in the area. The location was fantastic, the accommodation spotless, and the breakfast plentiful and high quality. The staff were lovely. I had the spacious Jacob room, tastefully decorated with a classy feel. A friend staying in the Dalesbred room commented on how good and comfortable the bath was. It deserves all its fantastic reviews and is impossible to fault.

Clare gave us so much of her time and effort, and we were grateful to all the staff. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to perfection, and we had a super room in a fantastic location. We just got back from a four night break at the wonderful Linton Laithe B&B. It's a gem of a place, and we'll definitely book another stay. Many thanks, Clare. You have a great place and your hosting is second to none! Best regards, Bernie & Jan
