Rivermead Farm Holiday Cottages

We spent a week here with family over Easter and had an amazing time. The cottage was beautiful, spotless and well equipped, and it was lovely to arrive and find all the bits for a cream tea supplied. It's set in a really nice spot, with pleasant walks by the river and around the grounds for the kids. We found it well located for travelling around Cornwall and managed to visit lots of places. Lanhydrock is very close, lovely for an evening walk, and we went a few times. Kate and Gary were attentive hosts and available if we needed anything. Couldn't have asked for better really. Would recommend it and stay again!

Otter Lodge was spotless, super peaceful and set in lovely surroundings. We had a lovely four night stay, and Kate and Gary left us a gift bag of sweet treats that we really enjoyed. Would definitely come back.

Rivermead is tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful spot. The trees on the drive in are the biggest I think I've ever seen! Kate and Gary were wonderfully friendly and helpful. They work hard and take real pride in the holiday cottages. Kate gave us tips for great local places to swim, explore and eat. The gardens and river through the property are pretty too, and there's a tree swing by the lake if you fancy staying close to home. The bed was really comfy, the cottage was clean and had everything we needed, and we felt comfortable there. We loved the welcome bag of local Cornish treats, with scones, jam, clotted cream and tea. We'd highly recommend a stay at Rivermead. Don't miss out!

We spent our 39th wedding anniversary at Bluebell cottage, and Kate and Gary greeted us so warmly. There was even a card and a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us. The grounds have several different paths, so we enjoyed walking around them at least twice a day. By the lake we spotted a Kingfisher, and Kate had a video of a stoat catching a rabbit early that morning. Our hosts were welcoming and available whenever we needed anything. We’d love to return to Rivermead Cottages.
