Laura was excellent, attentive when guests needed something while still giving them privacy, and very accommodating when I had to make a few last-minute changes. I stayed for a week while taking a course at Tetbury, about a 15-minute drive away. The room was clean and comfortable, and I could use the garden and patio. Breakfast was generous and good quality, and the setting was pleasant.

The two nights I spent here in late December gave me two of the most comfortable sleeps I've had all year. I was visiting for a wedding I photographed at the Old Bell Hotel, just a few minutes down the road, and was upgraded to a four-poster bed. Breakfast was exceptional and set me up well for the day. Laura's hospitality was second to none. I'd happily stay again.

Laura's hospitality was amazing, breakfast was wonderful, the price was very good, and the location worked well for exploring the area. We stayed three nights in May 2023 in the double twin room and loved our time there. One thing to be aware of: the short driveway comes out onto a very busy road with a 50 mph speed limit, and we weren't sure how much local drivers stick to it. We found it fairly difficult to pull out, though we're city people and not used to driving in the countryside every day. Laura said visibility improves once the hedges are trimmed after the spring growth, or in winter.

We had a really pleasant stay, and the breakfast was tasty. Our room had two single beds with super-comfortable mattresses and pillows; the bathroom was just outside and only for our use. There was a TV, kettle, tea, coffee, fridge, hairdryer, hangers in the cupboard, and towels. Parking was available outside, and getting to pubs or around the area by car was easy. The host was friendly and welcoming, and gave us advice on where to have dinner. I'd recommend it if you're in the area.
