We had only one key between four guests, and you need a key to get to the elevators and floors. We rang several times to ask for another. They said they’d bring one, but never did. The service was very poor and made it seem like they didn’t care. Avoid this place if you want a hassle-free stay.

Avoid at all costs. After I booked, they said they’d oversold the room for ladies day at the races and asked me to cancel. Then they listed the same room for more money. It gets better: instead of refunding me, they asked me to check in. I’d have no confidence booking with them, since they might cancel your room at a moment’s notice.

We got there at 3pm with plans for 4pm, and the key code they gave us didn’t work. They answered straight away and said they’d fix it, which sounded like a two-minute job. Instead we waited 45 minutes with no key and no refund. The housekeeper was cleaning upstairs and apparently couldn’t hear the phone. In the end, they moved us to a worse room, without offering any refund.

The location was good, and the room had a fantastic view and a gym. But we had no water for a whole day and had to call charles hope to get it sorted. The coffee machine was broken too. Temperatures in the apartment swung between hot and cold, and none of the windows would close.
