Orrell Park Hotel was a real gem, and it made our Liverpool trip much more relaxing. We had a large, spotless, comfortable room, with a really comfy bed and handy touches like tea and coffee facilities and biscuits. The bathroom deserves a mention too. That shower was possibly the best I’ve had in a hotel. The staff were warm, friendly and always happy to help, and it felt like a family-run place where they truly care about guests. Breakfast was a highlight as well: a tasty English breakfast with plenty of choice, served with a smile. It’s in a quiet residential area, and Orrell Park train station is only a short walk away, so getting into the city centre was easy. Free on-site parking was a huge bonus. We couldn’t have asked for more and would happily recommend it.

The restaurant was the main draw for me. The food was absolutely amazing, and the welcoming staff were happy to help. It’s a great small-scale hotel, and I had a great room too. Strongly recommend it to anyone staying in Liverpool.

I booked this budget stay for a hospital appointment and found it great value. The room was surprisingly quiet overnight, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the cooked breakfast was excellent.

The rooms were clean, the bar was lovely, and the staff were great. It’s a lovely family-run hotel and good value for money. Breakfast was amazing. I’d definitely stay again.

The bathroom had a sewage smell a couple of times, and there was a little mould around the window. The shower pressure was so weak I could pee faster. The bed was comfortable, though the sheets hadn't been put on properly, and despite the daily room refresh being advertised, it was clear nobody had come by. I thought it was expensive for what we got. The manager was lovely, but seemed uneasy speaking with a woman. I was the one booking and paying, yet he kept the conversation going with my partner. We didn't try breakfast because the hours didn't work for us.
