Square Tree House

Such a cosy breakfast, and the host made us feel welcome. The room was lovely, the mattress was great, and the proper duvet was a nice touch. There was even makeup remover in the bathroom. Absolutely recommended.

John rang as we were setting off to wish us a good journey, and let my friend and me arrive early so we could get ready for a wedding. He booked our taxi and even walked us to it, a true gentleman! The house is large, and our room, number 3, was especially spacious, with drink facilities and a view over the back garden. His wife and assistant were getting the rooms ready. In the morning we had continental breakfast served on beautiful crockery and cutlery. The service was faultless. There’s a blue door, and look for the lights on the bush because there’s no signage. The bus stop is right outside, and we had no trouble parking on the street. We booked directly with John at Square Tree House.

John suggested booking an Uber ahead of time for a match, which sounds like good advice. Buses to Liverpool One run regularly from a stop about 5 minutes away. The location is really good, and breakfast was great too. John and Fran were lovely and gave us useful information about the area. Nothing to fault, it was amazing.

John was a very kind owner. He made a wonderful breakfast and shared lots of tips for exploring Liverpool. The B&B’s location is great, right across from a nice park, with inviting restaurants not too far away and several buses that get you to the city centre quickly. We had a very spacious room with comfortable beds and nice touches, and the bathroom was extremely well equipped.
