The staff and maintenance team are lovely, friendly, and helpful. The cleaning lady was especially nice and always stopped for a chat. I also noticed they’d acted on feedback by adding a pool table and games in the reception and social area, though that space could still use more activities. Capital gate is in a handy spot, with a lidil next door, several nearby bus stops, and Lime Street about a 10/15 minute walk away. The transport links are good, and the rooms are a decent size with a sufficient bathroom. My only bathroom complaint is the lack of storage or shelves. The social kitchens are massive, but there’s only a large table, no TV or sofa. Adding those to the flats would make a big difference and bring the place closer to 10/10. The price is pretty reasonable.

For my first year, this was one of the cheapest en suite deals I’d heard about. I liked my room and bathroom, and the reception staff were really nice. When anything needed fixing, maintenance was quick. It’s a handy location, close to the uni of campus and around a 15 minute walk from Lime Street.

The staff are friendly and always ready to help, and the flats are modern and spacious. Capital Gate is central, convenient, and well connected, with Lidl, Tesco, Greggs, and Subway nearby and the university a short walk away. I’d recommend it if you’re after affordable, comfortable accommodation in Liverpool.
