It's a perfect location, with friendly staff, and we've stayed here twice now. It feels popular with stag and hen groups because of the price, so I did wonder if that might make the place go downhill. The broken lift made me suspect that 38 drunken partygoers had squeezed in and damaged it, but I don't know that for sure. I reported the problems I found in the unit because they can't improve things if nobody tells them. A few more basic utensils, blackout curtains and regular checks that everything works would help. Overall, though, it's a really nice place to stay and can work out cheaper than some hotels. If you book, behave and treat the place nicely. Don't trash it or nick things. Places like this are hard to find around the country, and I'll be back when I visit one of my favourite UK cities.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful even while I changed my times and added extra nights. I'd definitely recommend it, especially for The Echo Arena, which is only a two-minute walk away. It's wheelchair friendly too. I'd give it 5/5.

The room was a good size and well located by the waterfront and shopping centre. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room had everything I expected from the information. It's clearly an older place, but everything was in good condition for its age. The sofa wasn't great, though the bed was comfortable.

For the price we paid, this was a fantastic apartment. The showers and beds were excellent, and I'd definitely stay again. There's construction going on at the moment, so the hallways can look a bit ragged. If you don't feel like cooking, Milanos, KFC and McDonalds are all a five-minute walk away.

These are serviced apartments, though our place wasn't cleaned at all during our three-day stay. It was very clean to begin with and quiet at night, with all the mod cons you need. The location is central, close to Albert dock and about ten minutes from Liverpool one. Early check-in or late check-out costs 10 pounds an hour.
