This has been such a peaceful escape from our busy lives, and a birthday I won’t forget. We’re still here now and go home tomorrow morning, though I really don’t want to leave. Diolch yn fawr iawn for making such a lovely place. We can’t wait to return. The hut is beautiful, secluded and thoughtfully put together. Everything feels pristine, as if we’re the first people to stay, and it has a cosy, nostalgic charm. It reminds me of childhood caravanning holidays, with modern touches that make it feel special. We were happy just to stay in the garden, relax, watch our dog have the zoomies and enjoy the quiet. Apart from a lovely dolphin watching trip, we didn’t need to do much. On clear nights the sky was breathtaking as we sat outside under the stars.

At 'The Dragon Fly Hut' we could hear birds and see three Red Kites above the field, two buzzards, a family of swallows dipping for insects over the pond, and a couple of magpies. The only other living creature we saw was Teresa, the owner, when we arrived, and she was lovely. The listing doesn’t quite convey how secluded and private the hut feels. We had a wonderful few days there, a gentle dose of summer for our suburban souls. The bath is huge and hot, too. I hope we can come back someday.
