Emlyn Arms

We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived, with everyone asking where we were from. We were staying at the nearby CAMC Cl site, Glantowy farm, and ate here a few times. The food and service were brilliant each time, and the pub is great value. The steak and pudding night is especially good value, and we also enjoyed the Sunday carvery. Check the opening times before setting off, since they're not open every day. We'd definitely come back when we're in the area.

We only booked one night and regretted not staying longer. The room was lovely, with an ensuite, and the bed was really comfortable. Highly recommend.

We first tried lunch here on Wednesday while my daughter was visiting. Dogs can't come inside, but the weather was nice, so eating outside worked well. The steak was delicious and cooked just right: two were rare and one medium rare. We returned Sunday for the carvery, which was just as good, and had pudding too. We sat beneath the sheltered smoking area and stayed dry when the rain threatened. We'll be back when we're in the area again in two weeks.

The breakfast deserves a mention, there was a huge choice, and they catered for my vegan diet with a lovely big plate of food. My room was enormous, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom spotless, with everything working properly. The woman looking after me was so lovely. I had a brilliant stay and will definitely return many times. Next time I'd like to explore the local area.
