Beachside Guest House

We came back for the Victorian Extravaganza and the transport show. The room and view were lovely, the staff were very polite and efficient, and we enjoyed the breakfast too.

The made to order breakfast was really tasty, and the beach theme decor gives the place a nice feel. Beachside is cozy and clean, and the host went the extra mile to make my business trip comfortable and enjoyable. I was probably an unusual guest, as I stayed there for work rather than a holiday. The host was friendly, the decor was nice, and the location was great. Thank you, Dave. One small issue, the shower temperature knob was missing a lever part, which made it really hard to adjust, and I'm not a weak person. There was also an empty shower gel pouch left in the tray, probably by previous guests. Other than that, it was a perfect place and I'm planning to visit again.

The owners were warm and helpful, and the building is furnished and decorated beautifully. Breakfast came quickly and tasted great, and having a car park behind the hotel was really handy. We’d happily come back. Compared with other Llandudno B&Bs at a similar price, though, it would be nice to have fresh drinking water on the bedroom tea tray for people who don’t drink hot drinks, and a fresh pastry option at breakfast. 😊

Room 11 had a lovely view across town towards the distant mountains near Conwy, and the front looks over the War Memorial, beach and pier. The room was nicely decorated, with an en-suite, comfortable bed, hot chocolate and biscuits on the hospitality tray, plus a hairdryer and TV. Breakfast was delicious, and David and Cheryl made us feel at home from the start. The beach theme runs through the house, with dining room walls celebrating Llandudno’s entertainment past, including programs, posters and memorabilia about the pier and Palladium. Set among the Victorian houses and hotels on Southern Parade, this is a wonderful B&B. It used to be a miners cottage, so there are quite a few stairs and no lift, though chairs on the landings give you a place to rest. I’d recommend Beachside and would stay again.
