The Llandudno Hotel

The team were helpful with local knowledge and advice, and we were invited to a genuine local pub down the road run by the hotel owner. We were also lucky enough to see the local darts team perform. The hotel is well placed for both the Great Orme and the town. It’s probably the cheapest in town, and good value for money, with all the basics included. A great place to stay in Llandudno, at a perfect price.

The rooms are spacious, even for someone like me who has to strap on a prosthetic leg each morning, and they covered all our needs. It has a quirky Faulty Towers kind of vibe, which I personally like. A little hidden gem for good value, and we’d definitely come back.

Dust everywhere in the room, dirty glasses, and furniture in poor condition. The bed was really uncomfortable and I couldn’t sleep. Service was bad, the place was noisy, and the toilet door had tissue covering it instead of proper handles. Never choose this place.

We paid 1.3K for two rooms for five of us, advertised as a B&B, but there was no food at all. Nowhere near worth the money. I’ve paid £400 less for an 8 berth luxury caravan before. The interior decor looks like the early 80s, and the rooms are horrendous. They’re refurbishing the outside, which doesn’t really need it, while leaving the rooms as they are. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day. I’m glad I didn’t have a UV light. Reception was only staffed until 6pm, and we barely saw anyone. The person we did see didn’t help at all. I’d tell anyone to stay away, absolutely horrendous.
