We got lucky with a space on the road and could walk everywhere during our two-night stay. The room was beautiful and clean, the staff were friendly, happy, and chatty, and it's dog friendly for small dogs. Breakfast isn't included in the booking fee, so check you've booked it if you want one. In my opinion, it's slightly expensive, so I'd go out for breakfast. The listing says parking is available, but the only parking is on the road outside, which is usually chocka with shop workers, and there are no restrictions. If you park in the car park across the road, you have to take the car completely off before 8am and then re-park it, or you'll get a ticket for not leaving before 8am. At least it's only 50p for overnight parking.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was really good. They made pancakes and porridge for my fussy children while we had a full English. Our room was basic but clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the stay.

We've been going to st David’s for the last three years, and it seems to get better each time. Jan, the owner, is a bubbly, fun lady who can't do enough for you, and we're always treated so well. The accommodation is wonderful, with a lovely atmosphere and amazing staff. If you want great service, a good night's sleep in an amazing B+B, and a great breakfast, St David’s is for you. The room was small but clean, with some amenities missing. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was okay. But the way the lady who greeted us treated us left me annoyed. We were one family, including the bride and groom, and had filled the hotel for her. On arrival she strongly criticised us for booking everyone in under one address. She also chastised another couple standing with us about something else. It shouldn't have happened in front of us, and the other couple, like us, were obviously embarrassed. Around 8.30am, the same lady woke the bride's daughter to complain that they were running late for breakfast. That was wrong. We'd only specified an 8.30 breakfast on the wedding morning because the wedding was at 10.30am. The premises were clean, but the customer service was far from satisfactory, and I found her rather rude.

We had a lovely stay. The room was nicely decorated and clean, and breakfast was excellent with loads to choose from. They couldn't do enough for you.
