Oak Alyn Hotel

Three single beds were set up for us in a family room for a Saturday night away. My two cousins and I all slept really well, with comfortable beds and bedding. The proprietors were friendly and welcoming, and we’d definitely stay again. The room was clean and well equipped with towels, toiletries, tea and coffee, and sockets for chargers. Breakfast was superb, from the cereals, fresh juice, tea and coffee to the hot choices, which were nicely cooked and good quality.

My now 84 year old mother and I have been coming to this hotel for holidays since 2021, twice a year, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. She has mobility issues, and Steve, Andrea and Linda make every effort to accommodate her needs. The hotel is in a fabulous spot, five minutes from the promenade, and has a guaranteed car parking space, which is like gold dust in Llandudno. Breakfast is superb, the rooms are clean and spacious, and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. This little hotel is a gem, and Steve and the staff deserve every accolade.

The staff were some of the kindest I’ve come across in a hotel. Linda was with us at every breakfast, always friendly and attentive, and everyone catered to our needs, even the odd ones like needing a pizza cutter. The rooms were spacious, with nice comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Breakfast was simple but tasty. I couldn’t give five stars because the beds and floor creaked quite a bit, and our shower head was a little wonky.

The car park made everything easy, and it wasn’t expensive. We had a friendly, warm welcome, with the place clean throughout and warm in mid March. Breakfast was excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back soon.
