Sunnycroft Guesthouse

The Sunnycroft Hotel is centrally located, about a five-minute walk from the town centre and 10 minutes from the pier. Parking wasn’t an issue for us: there are four hotel spaces, plus plenty of on-street parking outside. Accommodation and evening meals are excellent value, and we’d definitely recommend a stay and return. We spent three nights here from 20 April and had a wonderful time. Kris, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and offered to carry our luggage from the car to our beautifully furnished and decorated ground-floor twin room. The lounge/bar and dining room were also comfortable and finished to a high standard. Breakfasts were excellent, served hot and delicious, with good choices. We were lucky to have dinner every night too. Kris is an amazing cook, and there was a vast choice. The meals were served promptly, hot, plentiful and cooked to perfection, using excellent ingredients. We’d recommend having dinner at the hotel as well. We spent four nights there and Kris looked after us extremely well. He’s a fantastic host, and both the rooms and the food were excellent. 10/10, would recommend!

We slept really well in the quiet room, thanks to the very comfortable bed and excellent mattress topper. It was a good-sized room with an ensuite and a great shower. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had, with great produce cooked perfectly and served piping hot. There were cereals and yoghurt too, along with tea and coffee. Kris and Erin have a great B+B here. Highly recommended. 👌 We stayed for three nights and got a friendly welcome on arrival.

We had two stunning rooms for five of us. Both were clean, tidy and extremely comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast tasted amazing and service was quick. With kids, it was just a five-minute walk to the beach. This is a great guest house. We wouldn’t go anywhere else now, and can see why it gets booked up fast. We’re already thinking about booking for next year.
