The Cliffbury Guest House

The classic king suite was roomy enough for us overpackers, with a nice spot to relax after long days of walking. Everything was exceptionally clean. Claire's breakfast was 10/10 each morning, with a great choice submitted the night before so it could all be freshly prepared. We'd just come back from five nights at Cliffbury, and it was incredible. Gareth gave us such a warm, friendly welcome, has a great sense of humour, and made us feel like we were staying with a friend. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Highly recommend it. Thanks for a brilliant stay, Gareth+Claire.

We had plenty of parking on the forecourt, and parking on the road right outside was free. The guesthouse was spotless, with spacious, modern rooms, and breakfast offered a good selection of delicious food, cooked and presented beautifully. Claire and Gareth made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our eight-day stay. It's in a quiet spot, about five minutes on foot from the main shopping street, railway station and main beach. We thought it was exceptional value for money, and it exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely return.

Claire and Gareth put in so much effort to make sure you have a great stay. The rooms are amazing, clean to a high standard and equipped with everything you need for a short or longer visit. Claire's breakfasts are a lovely start to the day, and Gareth's good spirits and humour help you feel at home. It's a beautiful place, and we'll definitely visit again. Lez now expects a full English every day.

The room was immaculate and spacious, with a super-comfortable bed and wonderfully quiet nights. Breakfast was beautiful and freshly cooked. Gareth and Claire were brilliant hosts and couldn't do enough for us. Honestly, The Cliffbury is the best place we've stayed in the UK. We'll definitely be back.
