The Mill At Glynhir

We've returned to the Mill at Glynhir B & B for a third visit, and it was just as lovely. It's quiet, tucked away and beautifully cared for. The bedroom has everything you might need, from toiletries and tech to a very comfortable 6ft bed, a great shower, tea and coffee, and a big jar of treats. Breakfast is superb, and the friendly, helpful hosts made the stay especially enjoyable. Absolutely perfect.

Helen and Matt were such warm hosts, always attentive and ready with useful local suggestions. They pointed us toward the National Showcaves, which made for a brilliant day out. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the eggs. We stayed three nights, and our room was bright, spacious and thoughtfully laid out. It had a private balcony, a table and a fridge. The bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom seemed newly renovated, with a sleek modern feel and everything we needed. We'd absolutely recommend a stay here.

I should have written this sooner, but it's quick to say: full marks all round. We only stayed one night, which was the one letdown. It's an excellent stopover or a great base for exploring S Wales. We'll be back.

The place was way beyond what I'd expected. They easily fit our family group of 11, and we had clean, spacious rooms plus access to a kitchen, living room and dining room. It was so peaceful that we could relax each evening after exploring all over Carmarthenshire. Helen and Matt looked after every need, the food was delicious and plentiful, and they even took special food allergies into account. We loved it so much that we cancelled our next hotel and stayed an extra night. When I'm back in the area, I'll find a way to stay here again.
