The people running the place are friendly and helpful, and the surroundings are lovely. We came back for our annual Craft Club and were made to feel welcome again. Tea, coffee and fresh homemade scones were there whenever we asked, and they were a treat. Thanks for looking after us. We’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone visiting or staying at the hotel.

It was so quiet here, away from the road, with views stretching into the distance. The rooms and building are beautiful, and being able to adjust the heating was a real bonus. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, and there was lovely coffee plus plenty of other drinks in the bar/lounge. The hosts were caring and delightful. Thank you, I’m looking forward to another stay.

I slept well on a rainy winter night because the room was lovely and warm, and there were plenty of tea and coffee sachets. My case was carried up for me after a warm welcome. Dinner, cooked beautifully by the host, was excellent and generous. At breakfast I had poached eggs, which were perfect, with lots of toast and proper butter. The gardens looked lovely too. I can’t fault the stay and will return. Highly recommended.

The building is very nice and the setting picturesque, but the welcome fell short. My partner and I found the lady host hostile rather than warm when we arrived. The room was fairly clean, though the bedsheets weren’t changed during my Monday-Friday stay. The shower also wasn’t fully working, and despite wifi being advertised, none of my devices could connect.

We arrived too late for food, so our host rang the local village pub and got us booked in for an evening meal, just a 5 minute walk away. The B+B sits on a hillside looking over the Welsh countryside, and we were welcomed nicely. It was clean and well maintained. I think there are 11 rooms, all different, as you’d expect, plus a bar for drinks and a restaurant area. Breakfast the next morning was great. A lovely place to stay, 10/10. 👍
