The meal was much more interesting than the simple pub grub we'd expected. The food was tasty, nicely presented, and well prepared, with generous portions and very good value. We came as a family group of 11, travelling from a wide range of places to get together. We'd like to return sometime when the museum is open.

I've been to the 398 coffee barn many times and will keep coming back. It's a great countryside stop if you're out cycling, as I was. Inside it's rustic and traditional, and a nice place to sit and chat. The staff provide great service, though they can take a while to notice you. The cakes and coffee are lovely, but the selection can be limited. What they do have, especially the carrot and ginger cakes, is divine. Prices are reasonable. Recommended.

The big breakfast was excellent, with plenty of food for a decent price. We had a lovely birthday breakfast for my friend last Saturday at this pub in a quaint village. The staff were attentive and friendly, and had even put a little 'Happy Birthday' sign on the table. Thanks for a lovely morning, and for the enormous slice of carrot cake and mammoth brownie afterwards.

Ruby served us and was really friendly and polite. She made sure we had everything we needed, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The food was very tasty and came out quickly. We'll definitely visit again.

We hadn't been here for a few years, but I'm so glad we changed our plans at the last minute and came on Saturday night. The meal was really beautiful, seriously yummy, and Amy was lovely. Service was friendly and welcoming. It wasn't too busy, which made for a lovely night out. The pub is in a super quiet location. We'll be back.
