That homemade Victoria sponge and the lovely Welsh Italian cappuccino made by our host were the standouts for me. The menu looked varied, and my other half would happily choose the tea and coffee with walnut cake every time. We only visited the cafe, but the warm welcome and clean, homely feel were a breath of fresh air. Hope they can offer a Sunday roast sometime. Best wishes to Lyn, Aled and the staff. We WILL be back.

They even welcomed our two collies, and we felt so well looked after throughout. Breakfasts and sandwiches were great, and the ice cream was good too. Such a friendly B&B. We'd definitely recommend it and stay again if we're in the area.

We left without buying anything because of the awful attitude from the woman inside. We’d stopped for coffee at the start of our walk, but there were no signs explaining distancing or ordering. The only notice on the door said “open” and had an arrow pointing to the handle, so we went to enter and were literally shouted at to stay outside. When my boyfriend asked whether they served coffee, the woman sitting inside with a cup of tea said, “theres a menu on the wall outside”. It had only about five drink options.

The area is beautiful, and the facilities were excellent. The people here were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. Friendliest bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed in. Perfect!
