Nanteos Mansion

The location was so peaceful, with a fantastic view outside, and the hotel was very clean. Our group of eight had four rooms, and the staff were friendly, hardworking, helpful, and accommodating, including with dietary needs. We were in a huge suite with an enormous bathroom, and the radiators kept the bedroom lovely and warm, which matters in a big old building. I just wish they lit the fireplaces in the reception and bar to make things cosier. Dinner came out on time and tasted good, with great service. The restaurant room was on the small side for all eight of us. Breakfast had a nice selection and was served in a much bigger room. The bar selection was quite limited, though. A few parts, like the lounge carpet and furniture, could use a spruce up, but that's picky, and the price felt fair. The narrow road was passable in supercars despite a few small speed bumps, and there was a good car park outside.

We came for our son's wedding to his new daughter-in-law this weekend, and the staff made it a special stay. They were so obliging that nothing felt like too much trouble, and the cleanliness was excellent. The mansion itself is beautiful and full of history. Thank you to everyone who looked after us. I would certainly recommend staying here.

The food really impressed us. I had the lamb and my partner chose the cod, and both dishes were superb. Our room was enormous, and the service was excellent during our wonderful two-night stay at Nanteos Mansion. It was better than we expected, and we'd definitely recommend the hotel.

We had a really tasty breakfast, ordered the night before, and the staff checked on us and were very polite. Checkout was quick and easy, and we'd love to stay again. The bedroom was above the kitchen, so it got unbearably hot. It seemed like this may be a common complaint, as the hotel had two fans and a room cooler available. With those and the balcony door wide open, we managed to cool it down. The receptionist was friendly, chatted with my son, showed us to our room, and was helpful throughout. Downstairs there are plenty of leaflets with ideas for things to do nearby. It's a lovely, quiet spot with beautiful surroundings.
