Peaceful campsite with a lovely river walk and a gorgeous, scenic setting. There are electrical pitches, but the facilities are very basic. The only hot water is in the paid shower, which takes a £1 coin for five minutes.

The little welcome basket was lovely, and the cottage owner checked in after we’d settled to make sure everything was okay. We stayed in the gorgeous cottage beside a beautiful, slow moving river. The kitchen was so well stocked it had everything we could need, and the setting felt wonderfully romantic for a couple. The shower was hot, though incredibly noisy, and there was plenty of parking for our van. We hiked Cadair Idris right from the front door, and Coed Y Brennin bike centre was an easy drive for a great day out. We also loved watching the adorable newborn lambs from the dining room window. Happy Easter, and thanks for a lovely stay!

For such a small site, the facilities are excellent: a spotless toilet and shower room, chemical waste point, recycling, and fresh water. We could hook our motorhome straight up to the tap before parking on our pitch. The campsite is immaculately kept and wonderfully quiet, with beautiful scenery and easy access to Snowdonia National Park and coastal towns like Tywyn, Aberdovey, and Barmouth. We found it by chance and were lucky to do so. Highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely return. #campsite #camping #Abergynolwyn #TalyLyn #Tywyn

It was incredibly windy while we were there, and two of our tent poles actually broke. Still, the scenery was stunning, the owners gave us a lovely welcome and kept checking in on us, and the facilities were great. Definitely would go again. That's Wales for you!

We absolutely love this place. The owners are fantastic and really helpful, and the views are wonderful. There’s a good shower, £1 for five minutes, and a pub about 1.3 miles away with good food. It’s our favourite campsite.
