Even with rain and drizzle for much of our Welsh winter stay, we had a brilliant time. The air was so clean, the views beautiful, and the neighbours friendly. The place felt completely private, and the layout worked perfectly for us. The milking parlour had everything we could have needed, and baby bunnies were a huge hit with one of our kids. There are loads of lovely walks nearby. Lucy is a real treasure. We'd definitely come back.

On our second visit, we brought our six-month-old daughter Thea along with our dog Daisy. The Hayloft cottage had all the things we needed for them, including a highchair, cot, and dog bowl. It was cosy, clean and peaceful, with a really comfortable bed. We especially loved having the enclosed meadow fields and woodland right there, with such lovely views. Daisy could stretch her legs, and there was also a brilliant play area just behind the cottage. Lucy and Ben were warm, friendly hosts and easy to reach with questions. We first stayed in September 22, loved it, and came back in May 23. We visited Aberglasney gardens and Dinefwr Castle this time, and I'm sure we'll be back for more holidays.

We barely felt the need to go out, with so much to explore on the property. We did visit the quiet beach at Penside and have a good meal at the local Cottage Inn. When we got back, our hosts had left us a lovely veg box. There are 47 acres to roam, ponds full of insects and amphibians, a magical wood, and dragonflies as big as Welsh dragons. The play area has sand pits and diggers for little ones, plus climbing frames, swings, a castle and football space for older kids. The website really doesn't show how much is here. The milk parlour was a lovely three-bedroom cottage, beautifully finished and stocked with everything we needed and more. Lucy and Ben, along with their two great kids, were fantastic hosts. Their youngest gave us a full farm tour, including handling bunnies and grooming pigs. We're a family of six with two boys and two girls aged 8 to 12, and we brought two dogs too. Ben and Lucy took the place on just over a year ago, and I reckon it'll be a big success. That's a bit of a shame for me, since I'd love it to stay our secret getaway. We'll be back!

The cottages were clean, comfortable and well equipped, and we'd definitely return. Rob and Fiona were lovely with our shy three-year-old, who was a little afraid of the animals at first. By the end of the week he was riding the donkey and leading the sheep. He also loved collecting eggs each morning and playing in the play area. We took him to National Trust Dinefwr, the botanical Gardens and folly farm while we were there. All were great for young children.

We had 12 of us on a big family holiday, staying in the Coach House and Milking Parlour. Both places were in great shape and laid out well. There was lots to keep the children busy, from feeding the animals each day to the play area and all the outdoor space. It's safely away from busy roads. Our son, who is living with autism, loved it and keeps asking to go back. Rob and Fiona were welcoming hosts and helped us plan trips to nearby places. It's a lovely area, with beaches, towns, restaurants and shops to visit. We'd highly recommend it for a relaxed family break, especially for anyone travelling with a child living with autism.
