Hillcrest Guest House

We only spent one night here, but it’s a great B&B. The whole place was very clean, and the staff were polite and fantastic. I only really saw them at breakfast, though there was a number to call if we needed anything. It was very quiet and not far from the town centre, and breakfast was lovely. Ten stars for the owners.

My other half insisted we book this B&B because it was the last room in Llangollen, even though I don’t usually choose B&Bs. What a find: a superb location, decent rooms, fantastic breakfast and lovely people. Highly recommended.

My husband and I loved staying at the Hillcrest guest house with our three dogs. The dog-friendly room was nicely decorated, and there was a spacious area at the back where the dogs could run around and go to the toilet. Dave was friendly and laid back, and nothing was too much trouble. It’s in a great location, with plenty of parking and all amenities within walking distance. The room was lovely and warm, the sheets were top quality, and breakfast had a good selection of fresh fruit and cereals as well as a full English that we thoroughly enjoyed. We’d absolutely recommend the Hillcrest and will definitely return.

The cooked breakfast and coffee were a great start to a day in the mountains. The owner welcomed us warmly and showed us to clean rooms with en-suite bathrooms. We felt it was good value, and I'd stay here again next time I'm nearby.
