Panorama Cottages

We stayed in the one-bedroom cottage for a weekend break starting 12 April 2024, for my husband's birthday. There was plenty of room for us and our two dogs, and the views were stunning. The cottage had everything we needed, and Richard was a really nice bloke who said to let him know if anything came up. The service was amazing and the price very reasonable. Visiting during lambing season was entertaining too. Highly recommend!

The hot tub was spotless and had superb views. The girls spent every evening in it, while the dogs enjoyed the walks. We stayed in the spacious, very clean three-bedroom cottage with my wife, daughters, their partners and our two dogs. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, good beds and a cosy lounge. The views were spectacular, it was peaceful, and hearing sheep bleat in the morning was lovely. Richard was always available if needed. I'd definitely recommend it for a relaxing break.

The setting is stunning, with great views and walks, and Llangollen is a seven-minute drive away. Just about perfect for a holiday. We stayed midweek for four nights in the three-bedroom cottage with our dog, for a nominal fee. It's simple and solid rather than plush, with hard floors in many places that suited us and made the stay feel relaxed. It had everything we needed and had been cleaned to a good standard when we arrived. Richard was always available and could quickly deal with any problems or requests. The two neighbouring cottages were occupied too. I spoke to the family and couple staying there, and they were happy with the accommodation. All three of us intend to return soon. One caution for people with small children: a window on the top floor is only about 30 cm above the floor. I also found it interesting that Richard heats the small complex with wood in a state-of-the-art wood-gasifying boiler.

The lodge was my favourite, especially the open plan living room and its jaw dropping views. We rented it along with the 2 bed cottage for a long weekend, and the cottages were great too. The dogs enjoyed it, and the dog charge was much lower than at the other places we considered. Many thanks to Richard, the owner. I’ll definitely be back soon and would highly recommend it.
