The facilities were spotless, with a very well maintained toilet and shower block. Our pitch was level and good, and the whole park, including the grounds, was neat and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Getting our motorhome over the humpback bridge at the entrance was no problem. From there it’s a pleasant 10-minute walk beside the canal into Llangollen town centre. Lovely setting, and we had a great stay. We’d happily return.

Lisa and Connor made us feel very welcome and were helpful. The showers and toilets are new and immaculate, and that was the best campsite shower we’ve had in several years. It’s a great base for Llangollen, with an easy canal walk into town and a good starting point for walking up Dinas Brân. The entrance is tight with a big van like ours at 7.5m, but manageable. I’d highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our visit and plan to come back. It’s a lovely 10-minute walk along the canal to Llangollen Centre, and the site was clean with the grass kept in good shape. I called at short notice and could choose whether to pay in advance or on arrival. Lisa greeted us when we got there and was helpful and informative. EHU was included in the price. I’ll recommend the site to friends and family.

The outside was a mess and didn’t look cared for. Inside, there was mould on the blinds and cobwebs, and the hot tub had bits in it. There was only a little toilet roll supplied, and no dressing gowns or slippers for using the tub. The path to it was just rough stones, with no paving. I was really unhappy with the stay and won’t be coming again.

The new wardens, Shanice and Corey, made us feel so welcome. They’re doing a great job and are a real credit to the business. What a gem.
