A lovely spot to spend an evening. The front bar has cosy seating, and both the staff and locals were friendly. I stopped in for a drink and found a nice range of ales, including a regular guest ale from tiny rebel.

We were made to feel at home by the staff and regulars, who kept things light even though we'd been stranded. On our way back to Bristol, extreme snowfall left my partner and me stuck in Llanidloes. We ducked into The Mount Inn to warm up and work out what to do. The staff quickly looked up travel information and offered us a room, which we took. They fed us well, and the room was very big and cosy. The hospitality and atmosphere were amazing. Thanks so much for looking after us. I'd highly recommend a visit or stay here! Louis and Jas

We had the place to ourselves for the funeral tea. James and Claire were friendly, compassionate and understanding, and provided an excellent spread. I'd highly recommend them.

The food was tasty and there was plenty of it. It's a traditional inn, with clean, basic rooms and a tiny en-suite, though the shower was great. All the staff were welcoming and friendly.
