The food was fresh, full of flavour and clearly prepared with care. I also loved the room: spotless, welcoming, and with a bed that made it hard to get up in the morning. The views were lovely to wake up to, and the luxe soaking jacuzzi tub was a great way to relax. The Hawk and Buckle is a real gem in Wales. The pub and bed and breakfast both feel so cozy, and the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming from the moment I arrived. It made for a very relaxing break. I’d happily return.

Our group of seven had a fantastic meal at The Hawk and Buckle Inn. The chef even came out to speak with one of us about their special dietary requirements, and the service was brilliant. The food and beer were top notch too.

Such a beautiful place, full of character, with wonderful staff and excellent food. A few things let the stay down: there was no bath plug, we couldn't get onto the WiFi, and the kettle had descaler in it. Still, I'd 100% stay again. ❤️

We all loved the food at our big family meal here. The kids' portions were hearty and very good value, while the adult dishes were lovely, made with care and beautifully presented. Pictured are the lemon risotto with a chicken breast and a rhubarb tart pudding. The staff were excellent, so friendly and welcoming. With its lovely interior and thoughtful design touches, the pub is a really nice spot for a drink or a meal. I'd highly recommend it.

After the Denbigh show we stopped in for food and drinks, even though we'd already filled up on ice cream. The cheese board and the Ham hock, leek and black bomber pie were brilliant, the pie was the nicest meal I've had in ages. Lovely views out back, really helpful staff, low prices and friendly locals. A perfect end to the day.
