We loved watching the garden birds over breakfast. The food was delicious, generous, and cooked when we ordered it. Our room had plenty of space, and the bed and bedding were really comfortable. The hosts made us feel so welcome, and we appreciated the thoughtful extras, especially the good teas and bath salts. Such gracious hosting and top notch service. A wonderful two night stay.

That window view was lovely, and the beds were so comfortable. Robert and Morag made us feel welcome straight away, with kind advice and recommendations, and even left biscuits in our room. Breakfast was generous and had plenty of variety, just right for someone who enjoys a hearty meal. We had a great two nights and would recommend the place as a base for exploring the Highlands.

For a proper traditional B&B, I’d recommend this place. Breakfast was generous, and the view from the window was lovely. Robert and Morag were so welcoming, offered recommendations and advice, and had left biscuits in the room. The bath was very nice, too. The floorboards squeaked a little, which is understandable in an older house and gave it a bit of a staying-with-my-grandparents feel. It’s also somewhat remote, so dinner takes a bit more travel.

The owners’ care really stood out. They left binoculars for guests, put oat milk out for my lactose intolerant wife, and shared helpful ideas for our trip and onward journey. The room at Ardno House was large and cosy, and breakfast was great. It’s a beautiful house, and I’d happily stay there again on another visit to Glencoe.

We felt at home from the moment Robert welcomed us. The entrance hall doubles as a lounge and has a lovely view of the lake, while our room was spacious and cosy, with thoughtful little touches. Morag was a wonderful host, and breakfast was delicious with lots of options. A beautiful stay at Ardru Hotel, and we’ll definitely come back.
