Hawthorn Cottages B&B

There’s greenery all around and the surroundings are beautiful. The cottage was cozy, warm and clean, and the host was really friendly and helpful. The kitchen had what we needed for basic cooking, and the shower was amazing. The one thing missing was toiletries, so bring your own. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.

Ian was lovely and gave us lots of ideas for places to see nearby. The cabin was really nice, pet friendly, and it was lovely being around the sheep. We stayed two nights and wished we could’ve stayed longer. There’s a really nice beach close by, and the location is exceptional. I’d go back.

We spent two days here during a bike tour along Scotland’s West Coast. After a day riding, it was a comfortable, clean place to relax. Our host Iain was helpful and made us feel very welcome. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

This was my seventh time back, and I still love the quiet spot in Benderloch, just outside Oban. It’s around a 10-15 minute drive into town, and the beach is a 5-10 minute walk along the road. The chalets are comfortable and have everything we need for our stays. Iain is friendly and checks that all is well, and the family know a lot about places to visit. There’s also a restaurant on site.
