Brenfield Croft Cottages

Ann and Malcolm were wonderful hosts and shared plenty of local knowledge. We stayed at Brenfield cottages, where the garden gave the children room to play and the views across Loch Fyne were amazing. There’s a pebble beach across the road, looking down the Loch towards Arran. My wife uses a wheelchair, and the cottage was very well adapted for her. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Lochgilphead and Tarbert are a reasonable drive away, and Oban is about an hour away.

We’ve been back to Brenfield for years, and have enjoyed both the cottages and the lodges. Our hosts feel like dear friends and always make us feel welcome. This trip meant a lot, as my husband has been unwell for the past few years and couldn’t travel. It was really good for him to make it this year. We hope his progress continues and that we’ll be back next year. Looking forward to seeing Malcolm and Anne again, love to you both.

We loved the log cabin, which was lovely and well equipped, and the owners were lovely too. It overlooks the loch and has a private beach area. There’s also a hot tub available to rent if we want to use it.

Such a brilliant place, with breathtaking views. We spotted dolphins and seals from the cabins, and had great weather too. A shame we have to leave this beautiful part of the UK.
