The breakfast was delicious, and I found the room spotless with a comfortable bed and a lovely view. The owner was really friendly too.

Christine made me feel very welcome during my one-night work trip. The accommodation was superb, and I really enjoyed the view and location. Breakfast was brilliant and cooked just right.

The hosts, Ian and Christine, went above and beyond, and I loved waking up to those incredible views. My room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast had a great cooked option plus fruit, yoghurt and cereal. This was my second time staying at Bishopcleugh during my annual trip from the US to my homeland. With a bit of luck and a fair wind, I hope to come back next year.

My early train to London was at 6 am, and the host kindly drove me to the station and packed a lunch for the journey. I hadn't planned to stay in Lockerbie, but train trouble meant I needed a bed for the night. I found Bishopcleugh Guest House tucked among the rolling green hills, a little way from the town centre. The surroundings are beautiful, and I’d happily recommend it for the warm welcome.

Christine was such a friendly, welcoming host, and her cooked breakfast was great. The room was clean and comfortable, and the setting is peaceful and beautiful. A fantastic stay, recommended.
