Days Inn by Wyndham Lockerbie Annandale Water

I slept well in the clean, fresh bed, and the hotel was good value for money. My room looked a little tired in places and could use an upgrade soon. There were a few snags: the toilet seat didn't fit, and the sink water was poor and didn't drain properly. Still, it's handy for onward travel, with shops and food on site, plus free parking for hotel guests. I'd stay again.

The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful during our two-day stay. We arrived Friday and left Sunday morning for a visit to the Edinburgh motorbike show on Saturday. The room was lovely and clean, with a soft bed and pillows. On Friday night, doors slammed until 11.35pm, and the TV signal wasn't good. I'd recommend it.

We booked this hotel for the Scottish Motorcycle show, and it was a handy break on our long drive from the West Midlands. It sits on the M74 as part of a Roadchef services, with several food outlets on site. Our bedroom was nicely furnished, very clean, and overlooked the lake at the back, which you can walk around. There wasn't dust on the picture frames or other surfaces, unlike at some hotels we've stayed in. The bed was comfortable, and the roomy sofa bed was a nice place to sit. The staff were friendly and good. We'll definitely come back for the views, room and facilities.

We stopped here while heading up to the top of Scotland. The room was tidy and very clean, and we all slept well in the comfortable beds. A lovely woman at the desk was friendly and helpful. For a family of four, the price was very cheap, and you really can't go wrong. It's a lovely location for a services stop.
