Premier Inn Haywards Heath

We stayed Friday to Sunday for three nights, meeting a family member who was back in the area after years abroad. The room on the third floor, facing the car park entrance, was as expected, and the shower was one of the strongest I've had in years. Breakfast was good quality, especially the full English, and they would serve whatever quantity we asked for. Weekend service was friendly, though chaotic and slow; that wasn't much of an issue on Saturday or Sunday. The continental selection was quite limited even with over an hour of service remaining. Chloe and George on the Monday team were much more attentive and quick, with food just as good as over the weekend.

There are plenty of restaurants a short walk uphill. The hotel is right across from the station, handy if you don't want to drive. On-site parking is very limited, so I used the station car park instead. It worked out well, though I had to get up at 4am to renew the parking fee!

With the lifts apparently out of order for some time, Steve and Chloe went out of their way to help, including carrying luggage for older guests and arranging ground-floor rooms where possible. Chloe kept breakfast cheerful, explained things clearly and watched that the buffet was up to standard. Mark, the Chef, was happy and efficient when preparing breakfasts to suit individual requests. The staff's help made up for the lift problem.

We'd visited Premier Inn Haywatds Heath a few times before and used the self-service breakfast, but on our visit today, Saturday 31st January 2026, staff took the order and brought it to the table. Chloe at front of house was lovely, polite and happy to help with anything. George made a super breakfast, the best we've had there. Highly recommend. Well done, Chloe and George!
