Dunster is a beautiful medieval village, and the Yarn Market Hotel made a comfortable, peaceful base for exploring Exmoor or just unwinding. It feels authentic, not flashy or trendy, and has the character of an old-fashioned countryside retreat. Our meals, from breakfast to dinner, were hearty and delicious, clearly made with care. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were warm and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. Service stayed friendly and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. A lovely place run by people who care, and highly recommended if you're after comfort and a gentler pace.

The Quilling Guild had its first residential break at the Yarn Market Hotel, and we've already booked to return. Our rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious and tailored to our requirements, and the hobby room was spacious, well-equipped, and for our exclusive use. The location was superb too. Antony and his excellent team looked after us brilliantly. Nothing was too much trouble, and they even arranged transport for sightseeing trips to some wonderful places without us having to ask. Just perfect for a residential hobby break like ours.
