The Sail Loft was lovely, and the private garden and deck were a real bonus in that great little village. Inside, it's a creative mix of styles, with a big comfy bed and a walk-in shower. Upstairs was a nice surprise, a really large living room tucked into the eaves of this big old house. The stairs to both floors are steep, with a sailing rope for a handrail, so mobility problems could make getting up them difficult.
Janice and Andrew were so welcoming, and they know loads about the local area. The bed was very comfortable, and the Sail Loft's cosy, funky design made up for the wet, windy, cold weather during our January weekend.
It felt like home, with very comfortable beds and our own kitchen and lounge. The hosts were really helpful and just next door if we needed to get in touch. I'd love to stay again when I'm back in the area. Thank you!
A lovely village, with beautiful country walks right on the doorstep. The place is cosy, well equipped, and has everything you want for a lovely break in the country. Great place to stay!
The weather was great, and this was one of the best places I've stayed. Such a cool house, beautifully decorated, in a lovely area.
