Altido Chic&Cosy 1-Bed Flat In Quirky Notting Hill

The location made it easy to explore London, and having reception open around the clock meant we could return whenever we wanted. The staff were really friendly. We stayed for two nights in a fairly cosy room, but the thin mattresses made the beds uncomfortable and the toilet wouldn't flush properly.

For a day of training in London, I spent one night here and found the room small, basic, and clean, just what I needed. It's a straightforward, low-cost place in a brilliant central location, surrounded by lovely white Georgian houses, leafy trees, and quirky shops. The staff were friendly and helpful. If a bed and shower are all you're after, I'd wholeheartedly recommend it.

The staff, including the manager, were so kind. They made check-in, checkout, and arranging a taxi easy, and even found medicine for our child when they were ill in bed over the weekend. The rooms were clean and quiet. It's in a classic London neighbourhood, a short walk from the Underground, with the Circle, District, and Central lines nearby. A simple, comfortable base close to the major sights. We'd recommend it.

The brief interactions with staff at check-in and checkout were fine, but room 31 was disappointing. There was no Wi-Fi or tea and coffee setup, the covers could've been cleaner, and the mattress and pillows both felt very old. The bathroom smelled musty and badly needed updating. It wasn't a terrible stay, but I won't come back.
