Apartment hotel Roomzzz London Stratford

The team made our birthday weekend much easier. We got there around 11:30am and, while asking about the car park, were offered early check-in for the usual £10 without needing to ask. Otherwise we'd have had to wait until evening to get into the room. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and the room was accommodating, with heated bathroom tiles that were a lovely touch. It was also a convenient base for getting around London, just over a five-minute walk from Stratford station. The reception is huge, with free coffee available all day and complimentary fresh croissants each morning. A great hotel to keep in mind for another stay.

The room I received was a Neo studio rather than the Smart studio I’d booked, apparently because I used a third-party booking site. That downgrade is why I can’t give it five stars. I still had a lovely stay, though, and felt safe and welcome travelling on my own. Sundays seem to bring good deals.

There are plenty of cafes and restaurants around, with the huge Westfield centre beside Stratford Station. It’s an easy trip into central London from there, though the station is about a 10-minute walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are self-contained, with a fridge, stovetop and ensuite, and some look out over the park toward the O2 Arena. Beds were very comfortable. There’s a small cafe selling coffee and snacks, plus free coffee and a croissant from 6am during your stay. A great London location.

I normally book in central London, but since I was driving this time, I tried Roomzzz Stratford and was glad I did. The apartment was roomy and clean, with nice views and a kitchen that had what I needed. I sorted parking for myself just a couple of minutes away, though parking is also available at the property. The nearest tube station is around a 15-minute walk. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and Stratford Centre is close by for shopping. The Elizabeth line made central London easy to reach, about 15 to 20 minutes. Complimentary coffee and a croissant downstairs in the morning were a nice little extra. It felt like a quieter, more spacious base outside the central London bustle, with good connections and local amenities.
