I almost never post a bad review, but this hostel was a total nightmare. I booked four nights and left after the first because I didn't feel safe or comfortable there. The whole place had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the bathrooms and showers were dirty and badly maintained. Cleanliness was much worse than I'd expected. My room was extremely small, with hardly any space for luggage or other belongings. I also saw guests changing in the corridors, which left little privacy and made the atmosphere uncomfortable. The photos I've attached show what the facilities looked like during my stay. I left right away because of the hygiene and general environment, then booked another hostel. The difference between the two places was remarkable. I hadn't used the remaining three nights of my reservation, but they still refused my refund request. Based on what happened, I can't recommend this hostel. If cleanliness, comfort, and feeling safe matter to you, I'd suggest looking at other options.

That lounge and bar area is so welcoming and has plenty of resources. I keep coming back to this place, one of my London favourites, whenever I visit family. Norbert is especially helpful and knows the city well. Ask him for places to eat or see, and he'll have plenty of information. Enjoy your stay!

The rooms are simple and sparse, but clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with nice hot showers. Dep Mgr Kelvin was full of humour and character, and went out of his way again and again to make my stay and other guests' stays pleasant. The staff and managers were friendly and courteous, with lots of personality. They even waved me over from across the street and told me to relax and take a seat. I don't praise places lightly, but I really enjoyed staying here, both as a pub and a hostel. It's an affordable, welcoming pub on a nice street, with a good selection at reasonable prices. The quiet neighbourhood is tucked behind Marylebone station and Baker Street, yet close to the buzz, shops, pubs, and attractions around Regent's Park, Baker Street, and Edgware Road. There are plenty of nice little places to drink nearby too. Nice one, Kelvin!

The room was filthy and badly maintained. There were stains on the bed, the locks were broken or only partly working, and the whole thing looked worse than a prison cell. I've never stayed in a hostel this bad. The pub downstairs smelled horrible, like 💩 everywhere, and I noticed it as soon as I checked in. This was the worst place I've stayed in London. Choosing it was a huge mistake. Most of the positive reviews must be fake. Please avoid it at all costs.

I booked five nights but was out of there within 15 minutes. The room I'd booked as a private double was misleadingly presented online. It was a shoebox, too small for two suitcases, and smelled so bad that my partner and I felt sick just being in it. The whole place seemed unclean or like it was falling apart. There was a smell of dog poo throughout, and things were left all over the staircase to the rooms. I asked for a refund and was told to email. I did, but got no reply. Another email got no answer either. Terrible experience, I don't recommend it.
