St Nicholas Hotel Kenton

One star because I have to give it something. I made three bookings and had to cancel two when my plans changed, both within the free cancellation period. It's been almost two months and I still haven't received my money back. I may have to cancel the third booking as well, and I already expect not to get that money either. I've called, left voicemails, sent multiple emails, and even sent a formal notice letter, but there's been no reply. This is so unprofessional. I want my money back!

The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but perfect for the price, and probably the cheapest hotel in London. The staff are lovely, and free parking and WiFi are a nice bonus. We stayed for a concert in wembley and it was absolutely worth it. I'd stay again.

The room was damp enough that the blanket on the wall side of the bed was wet, and there was mould in the window seals. The furniture was old and damaged, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the bathroom door was difficult to lock. We didn't dare use the shower. On top of that, it was noisy at night, with paper-thin walls letting us hear everything from next door. We were glad to leave as early as possible. At least the hotel gave us a roof for one night.

I've stayed here regularly over the last year or so, and it's a real gem. The rooms and facilities are always clean, and the price is good value. The housekeeping staff are helpful, and everyone is welcoming and friendly, always ready to lend a hand when needed. I love this hotel.
