They cancelled my 17/05-19/05 booking on the day I was due to check in, sending a WhatsApp message that said I'd get a full refund. I couldn't reach anyone on any of the three numbers listed online. The owners are refusing to cooperate with Booking.com by Connor confirming that they cancelled the reservation, and I think using WhatsApp instead of the proper channels was a way to avoid an official record of the cancellation. This has dragged out my refund process after they cancelled at the last minute and were unreachable when I tried to contact them. Booking.com is a third party working for commission, and in my view they'll avoid refunds at all costs. I consider the owners and Booking.com crooks and scammers. Avoid them at all costs.

We had a great base for our London trip. The rooms were spacious and clean, above a friendly pub, and the staff were really nice. The location was excellent.

It was okay, but getting to the room meant working through a maze of doors and locks. The kitchen wasn't clean.

For London, this was excellent value. The basement room had its own shower and toilet, plus an outdoor terrace with artificial grass. It's also near St. Pancras and King's Cross stations.
