Civic Hotel

The location was brilliant, with loads of shops nearby and the centre not far on foot. I enjoyed taking my child to the park two minutes away and watching the planes go by. The team were friendly and the service was good. Our room was good too, though there wasn't much freezer space and water kept dripping from the fridge.

Preetam, Sana and the other receptionist, whose name I didn’t catch, were warm and really helpful. The room had a very comfortable bed, a newly updated bathroom, tea and coffee, plus shower gel and shampoo. The facilities were great. Only thing I’d change is adding a small lift for luggage, since there are stairs.

The area was so quiet, everyone was friendly, and Hounslow Central is only about a three-minute walk away. There are buses right outside, including the 120 and H20, and pubs, parks and lots of Asian restaurants nearby. Heathrow is close too. My council booked me in after a car ran over my leg. I arrived on Monday 14/7 without ID, but they still let me check in. Management, the owner and staff were brilliant. The place was clean, the service excellent, and the free breakfast came with unlimited tea and coffee. For me, that’s way beyond five stars.

The tube is about a five-minute walk away, though keep in mind the hotel sits under the Heathrow flight path. My room was small but clean, and the bathroom looked recently renovated. The pillows were the letdown: just one, and it was pretty thin.
