Blue Sapphire Hotel

The hotel looked just like the pictures, and my room was clean, comfortable and well kept. The staff were welcoming and polite. I booked Blue Sapphire Hotel after reading the Google reviews, and my first stay lived up to what I expected. Highly recommended.

On my second visit to Blue Sapphire Hotel in Seven Kings, I felt cheated over my deposit. During my first stay, staff encouraged me to book directly next time instead of through Booking.com, promising a discount. They did offer it at first on my return, but at checkout said they had to inspect the room before giving my deposit back. Afterward, they accused me of smoking in the room and kept the deposit. I strongly disagreed, and felt the accusation was just an excuse to hold onto my money. The whole thing seemed suspicious, and left me thinking other guests might lose deposits this way too. What began as a promised saving ended with me feeling scammed. Customer service was awful, especially one woman at reception. She was rude and dismissive, and wouldn’t listen to my concerns. She made a frustrating situation worse instead of helping resolve it. I’d tell future guests to be very careful about deposits and get everything clearly documented in writing. I won’t stay here again, and can’t recommend this very disappointing hotel.

My stay at the Blue Sapphire hotel was a disaster. The room was tiny, dirty and far too expensive, nothing worked properly, and the TV seemed ancient. The receptionist also asked me outright for a tip so he could go have lunch. I can't believe a guest would be asked that directly. How is that acceptable? Avoid this place.

The room was very clean, the air conditioning was fantastic, and I slept wonderfully. Staff were friendly and reminded me about breakfast, which was good. The hotel is especially well placed for bus travellers, and the train station is within walking distance. A great experience overall.
