Bob W London Earl's Court -Warwick Road

The rooms themselves were nice, but check-in and getting back inside each time we went out was a bit of a nightmare. We used Bob W twice on this trip. First we had to go back and forth with AI Bob to get the outer door code and the electronic slider for the room door. Then, whenever we returned, I had to dig through WhatsApp to find the website and get back to the page with those details. An app like Air BnB’s would keep everything together and easy to find. Customer service with AI Bob on WhatsApp was very good, though. Replies came instantly, and we could eventually sort out any problems. One room faced a very busy street, but AI Bob arranged a move to the quieter interior of the building. We were charged for the change, though not the full price. Check the bathroom measurements if you’re bigger than average. At 5'11" and 160 pounds, I could barely maneuver in ours and knocked things off shelves unless I paid close attention. With some improvements, I suspect the Bob W experience could become the model for the future.

The room was great for what we paid, and getting to the Underground was easy. We’ll stay here again when we’re back in London.

After long, busy days it was lovely to come back and unwind in the room. The area felt lovely and quiet in the evenings, and the Tube was perfectly placed. The room itself was fantastic, though a few fixtures could use some TLC. We had a great time.

The one real convenience was being close to the metro and a supermarket. Everything else made this a terrible place to stay. The bathroom was the smallest I’ve ever seen, with a sink only 30x15 cm and a shower area of about one square meter. We’d booked expecting a view, but our room faced a noisy street. Traffic, including cars and motorcycles, carried on around the clock. The 19th-century windows and walls blocked none of it, and you could hear every vehicle. There were earplugs left in the room, which felt almost mocking. In four nights, we slept only 3-4 hours in total. This place is completely unsuitable for rest. We were also put on the 3rd floor with no elevator. The stairs got narrower and steeper as we climbed, to the point that they felt almost dangerous. If I could, I’d cancel right away and demand a full refund. A truly awful experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
