Book a Bed Hostels

The room was miserable. There were no bed curtains like the ones in the photos, people were loud and disrespectful all night, and the fan didn’t work, so it felt like a sauna. The hostel looked nothing like its online pictures, and everything was dirty, broken, and smelled bad. The showers and toilets were disgusting and clearly weren’t cleaned properly. The booking process was a mess too. The website crashed and gave me the wrong dates, and it took a week to get the problem fixed without extra charges. My few days here were a terrible experience from beginning to end. Honestly, it’s embarrassing that the place is still open when nobody seems to look after it. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The bar downstairs was the best part. Drinks and food were reasonably priced, and it was a decent place to sit if you didn’t want to be in your room. I won’t stay here again, and I’d advise people against it unless they work for the health department. The hostel looked much older, more outdated, and dirtier than the online photos. Staff were okay but not especially friendly. The showers and toilets weren’t clean or well maintained. The beds seemed clean and were somewhat comfortable, though. The people in the dorms came across as a pretty shady crowd. The guests I shared with were aggressive and rude in the middle of the night, which wasn’t what I wanted. Night staff were okay, but they’d walk around barefoot, shout on their phones, or sit right in the middle of the stairway, the only way out.

A great place to stay, with really good staff and service. I’m especially thankful to JAY, a top man and the life of the hostel. Highly recommended.

I don’t think this is a good place to spend £50 on a room. The setup is dark and dirty, and it wasn’t suitable for a night’s rest. My double room had a sticky wooden floor and was hot, with loud standing fans running to try to deal with the heat. There wasn’t a toilet in the room, so the showers and toilets were communal. Some toilet seats were broken. People showered outside my room at 4am, and you could hear everything.
