Citadel Apartments Aldgate

Ali really looked after us throughout the stay, always available by phone if we needed help or advice. He made the apartment feel more like we were staying with a caring friend than renting a place, and his kindness turned an ordinary night into something memorable. We'd happily return whenever we're in the area. We arrived later than planned because our travel arrangements were hectic, but Ali stayed past his usual working hours to let us check in. Once we got settled, the apartment was spotless and well equipped. He showed us around and made sure we knew how everything worked. Since we were new to the area, Ali offered to drive us to a Turkish restaurant that was still open. He took us there and suggested dishes from the menu, which made for a lovely meal. His warm welcome, thoughtfulness, and personal attention made us feel comfortable from the start. We can't thank him enough, and would highly recommend staying under Ali's care.

It took a bit of effort to find the place, since it's easy to miss from the street. Rodin went out of his way to spot me, a lost traveller on the next street, and show me where to go. Inside, it's quite small, but the staff member Rodin was very helpful. The room has the basics you need. If you just want somewhere to leave your luggage while you work and sleep at night, it'll do the job. There wasn't anything to disappoint me.

Ally made us feel right at home, and the cozy bed and very clean, tidy room were great. It was a private room with a shared kitchen and bathroom. The location is ideal, just five minutes from the underground and close to lots to see. Great price too. We'll definitely stay again.

The rooms are fantastic, and Petticoat Lane is a great spot. Just expect an early noisy start on Sundays, when market traders set up their stalls right outside. We'll definitely book these rooms again.
