Spacious Hammersmith Family Home

I expected a private room, as advertised, but the landlord tried to make me pay more and accept a shared room with bunk beds instead. Two other groups were outside arguing with him on the phone too. He wouldn’t show up himself or send anyone to help. I ended up taking the keys to the room I’d expected. If he had a problem with that, he could have dealt with me face to face. This felt like false advertising and a con.

Very clean, with a nice ensuite, and everything you need close by, including Waitrose and costa. The location worked well for me, about £7.00 in an uber from Victoria. You do need to confirm your arrival time so someone can hand over the key, but communication was easy.

Fine for a one-night stopover. It was clean, tidy and functional, but we weren’t really expected and nobody showed us the facilities. That was about it for us. I’ll stay somewhere else next time.

The kitchen was kept clean, and the room was bright. It worked well for a family stay.
