Comfort Inn Victoria

We slept wonderfully each night. The room was quiet, the bed was very comfortable, the duvet warm and cosy, and the pillow was one of the best we’ve had while travelling. We were also pleasantly surprised by the room’s size. The bathroom was spacious and well looked after, towels were changed daily, and the room was cleaned carefully every day. The whole staff were consistently polite, friendly, and ready to help. Reception welcomed us warmly and check-in was quick. The hotel is a few minutes’ walk from Victoria Station, making it easy to catch the Underground, trains, and buses for trips around London. There are restaurants, pubs, and transport links nearby. We also appreciated being able to leave our luggage safely after check-out, so we could have breakfast and take one last stroll before the airport. We were very happy with the room, cleanliness, and location, and would recommend Comfort Inn Victoria to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place in a convenient spot.

There wasn’t much of a view from the window, but we hadn’t expected one. The beds were a little short, though that seems normal in England. The hotel is straightforward, with a decent room that was cleaned every day. We were there for three nights in April, and it was a good stay with nothing to complain about. Victoria Station is just a few minutes away on foot, and walking to Piccadilly Circus took only 35 minutes. There are plenty of places very close by where you can get breakfast.

The only small thing that kept this from being perfect was the trains passing every 3-5 minutes. The room was clean and really comfortable, and the service was exceptional. Having reception open 24 hours was a real plus.

We were very disappointed by the condition of Room 126. It was clearly damp and musty, with visible mould beneath the window right beside the bed. This raises obvious health and safety concerns. The hotel was fully booked, so there was no option to move rooms. Reception asked us to email management with photos, which we did twice, but nobody has replied. It’s concerning that a room like this is still in use and that complaints about health risks are being ignored. The lack of communication or resolution has been extremely disappointing.
