Hyde Park and Paddington Station are both close by, which made the location really handy. There were some doors banging now and then, but it didn't spoil an otherwise great stay. Our suite looked freshly refurbished, was fantastic, and the whole hotel felt modern and very clean. The staff were lovely, and the breakfast buffet had lots of choice, was tidy, and came at a decent price. We spent two nights at the Commodore and would highly recommend it.

It was such a good deal, and I definitely plan to return. The hotel is small and works well for one person, with a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from Kensington Gardens, where I could take a walk every day. The staff were friendly and respectful, and when I ran into a couple of personal challenges, they offered several options that helped me a lot. The Commodore Hotel has become one of my favorite hotels in Europe. Thank you so much.

The bus stops are only a block away, which helps when London attractions feel so spread out and the walks get long. We went down for breakfast every day, it was a great deal with loads of hot options. The Commodore hotel was right across from hyde park and just a short walk from kenssington palace. Everything was clean and worked well. We had a big walk out balcony off our room. We didn't use it, but it was nice to have.

The shower was excellent, hot and powerful, and the staff were friendly enough. The building's exterior is beautiful, but that was about where the 4-star experience ended. We stayed for our 5th anniversary and were really disappointed. The noise was relentless all night, a loud hum that sounded like a motorcycle idling outside, possibly from building machinery. I could barely sleep. The concierge was polite and came up to check, but couldn't move us. They gave us earplugs as a fix, which wasn't acceptable for a noisy room on our anniversary. The carpets were grubby throughout, and even small details like single-ply toilet paper made the rating feel unearned. In our room, the so-called double bed was two singles pushed together, with an uncomfortable gap that meant I couldn't sleep close to my partner. The pillows were lumpy and the sheets stiff and scratchy, like hospital linen. The hotel seems to rely on its grand facade and location, but the guest experience felt dated and poorly maintained. If you want romance or a decent night's sleep, I'd look elsewhere.

Pratibha did an excellent job, and I really appreciated her. The room and location were nice for the price, so I still recommend the hotel. But my business day and schedule were ruined when Mrs. Sanskriti made me leave at the normal checkout time, despite my late checkout having been granted. The colleague who checked me in had clearly said he'd noted a 04:00PM checkout in the system and that it was no problem. Mrs. Sanskriti simply didn't care, and I was annoyed. At least the employee who approved it could have been called. Sorry Mrs. Sanskriti, communication with your colleagues clearly wasn't sorted. Pratibha, thanks for a nice stay.
