Covent Garden by Excel Apartments

I ended up paying three times as much somewhere else after they stopped me from checking in, despite having paid. I even offered to enter alone, but they said their “system” required two guests. That’s absurd and suspicious, and plainly not in the customer’s interest. I’d booked barely two hours before cancelling because Excel Appartement wouldn’t let me in, yet they applied a hugely punitive policy as if I’d held the booking for weeks. None of that was made clear upfront. Their phone agent told me to cancel and guaranteed a refund, which didn’t happen. They should listen to the Saturday 5 pm call and review the agent’s handling. The service was terrible, and the whole thing felt like a blatant scam. If I don’t get a proper reply by Tuesday, I’ll post this review everywhere.
